Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2012, part 7

Posted by Robin on 5 April 2012 8 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

Hello Kitty Big Pink Bow solid perfume ring

From Hello Kitty, a solid perfume ring in the new Big Pink Bow fragrance. $29 at Sephora.

Tokidoki Ciao Ciao solid perfume

Also at Sephora, a Tokidoki Ciao Ciao solid perfume: "This criminally cute metal charm features the todidoki character Ciao Caio and her signature scent in a solid fragrance that can be applied to your wrist or neck". $17, also available in Adios.

Roja Parfums Diaghilev Faberge edition

Moving up the price scale, from Roja Parfums, Diaghilev in a special edition with a Fabergé white gold and diamond egg pendant, the Oeuf Duchess Blanc. At Harrods in the UK, £17,029. (via diarydirectory.blogspot)

Also from Roja Parfums, Aoud in a special edition "adorned with a SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS crystallised cap"; in 100 ml Parfum for £495 at Harrods.

*sigh* At the Roja offerings. I can’t wait till June when I finally get to go to London and sniff his wares.

Luckily — given the prices! — neither of those Roja Dove bottles is calling out to me.

At current exchange rates, that’s $26960. I know it can be hard to tell from a small picture, but I’m really struggling to justify the pricing for the Diaghiliv. Is it a gallon of scent and an ostrich-egg-sized pendant?

Looks like a small pendant with a small diamond.

Dream split would be finding someone who wants the egg pendant and needs an old lady to take that old lady perfume off her hands… 😉

Hello kitty! Dontcha wish all our fave frags were made in perfume solids, and we could interchange the refills in the compact of our choice!
