Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir L’Eau Exquise ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 3 April 2012 15 Comments

Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise

Bvlgari has launched Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise, a new flanker to 2011's Mon Jasmin Noir, which was a flanker to 2008's Jasmin Noir. The new fragrance for women was inspired by the Boboli Gardens in Florence.

Like the two earlier fragrances, Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise was developed by perfumer Sophie Labbé; notes include pink grapefruit, almond, jasmine, white tea, white musk and precious woods.

Bvlgari Mon Jasmin Noir L'Eau Exquise is available in 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette.

Pretty bottle, and I like the idea of an almond/jasmine/tea scent. However, Boboli is forever in my mind those pizza bases that came out in the late 80s/early 90s.

I am anosmic to something in Jasmin Noir & its buddies, so not interested. Doesn’t sound bad though.

Ha, I’d forgotten about Boboli pizza bases! I wonder if this scent has any affinities with DG Light Blue Living Stromboli.

Gorgeous bottle. The pink grapefruit note might be a little tricky for me. It would be interesting to see how it plays with the other notes.

I like the green. Probably won’t be able to smell it (see my comment above).

Bleck–grapefruit. Pink or not (isn’t it all pink on the inside?)Grapefruit reads like cat you-know-what to my nose.

It doesn’t work for everyone, but will be surprised if it’s more than a whisper in this scent.

I’m not sure about the grapefruit either, but I’ve enjoyed these scents and will look forward to trying this.

Doesn’t sound half bad for a light, pretty scent (though the name is verging on Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Things Dream Angel Noir etc. territory). But, like Robin, I think I’m anosmic to something in the first two Jasmin Noir offerings.

ME TOO! I must have tried it at least half a dozen times. It’s like the emperor’s new clothes… people are beside themselves raving and I smell absolutely nothing! Neither jasmine or something Noir. Sprayed on paper, it smells like paper. Sprayed on skin, it smells like skin.

Mon Jasmin Noir & Jasmin Noir L’essence are two of my fave frags, so obviously excited! Except for that grapefruit note.
