don’t get the connection between Little Black Dress and These Boots…
Same here. It’s not as though the fragrance were named Little Black Boots. I like the animation, though.
“Little black boots” would be actually a great name for fragranced destined for the Puss in Boots
They could have used “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress”
Maybe Black Boots will be the follow-up fragrance 😉

But, the song is actually about the fact that her guy’s been running around on her.
Well, she *is* wearing little black boots! Probably they made the animation and then set it to music. To a French audience perhaps the impression may be more jaunty and less incongruous.
It’s a great song in any case…

I do not like much of their video advertising, so for me this was a nice change.
It reminds me of the graphics of an enormously funny book called The Naughty Girl’s Guide To Life by Tara Palmer Tomkinson. She’s an IT Girl and famous British socialite and that book is a guilty pleasure. And kinda waterproof too, great accessory to a bubble bath!
It also reminds me that Avon Cosmetics has a Little Black Dress fragrance as well. How is that possible? One name is in French and one in English, but still.
It is possible if you don’t trademark the name.
