So the bottle is unbreakable: an original selling point!

It didn’t tell me much else about it, that’s for sure.

If this were to actually occur in a store — can you imagine the reaction of store personnel?? Security would’ve grabbed this well-dressed but apparently deranged woman right off the ladder, hustled her out the door and into a cop car!

And how is it she’s capable of nimbly snatching bags and boxes and shoes — but fails to grasp the bottle of perfume? Is the message of the ad that despite your frantic efforts to find what you want — you will still let it fall through your fingers once you do? That’s … uh, depressing, to say the least.

You gotta wonder — what marketing genius came up with this idea, and got creative directors, etc, on her/his side … and then convinced 9 West that THIS was the concept to go with? Actually, the idea of 9 West even having a perfume is in itself bizarre (ditto Jimmy Choo, et al).

I think this belongs in the “Advertising — Whatever Were They Thinking??” category.

That’s funny. I was thinking, Is she gonna clean up that mess?

It’s not a great ad — not sure what it’s supposed to tell us about the perfume or the woman.

The name is unfortunate, too. The ad could have been a lot worse.

I think they already use Love Fury for their other products (?)

Sampled this today.. the opening was not pleasant to me as it was too fruity for my taste..however on the down is better, becomes more woody, floral and powdery. Woudn’t buy it though..not my taste…just another safe and geared to younger fruity floral. Can someone bring back the daringness of the 80s/ 90’s back please?

That’s no way to treat either shoes or PERFUME!
    Shame on her!
