Posted by Robin on 26 January 2012 13 Comments

Providence Perfume Co Hindu Honeysuckle

Indie natural line Providence Perfume Co has launched Hindu Honeysuckle:

From India With Love . . . Revered for its' [sic] lush aroma, honeysuckle symbolizes generosity and kindness. Notes of sweet Indian Jasmine Sambac meld with green vetivert, musk ambrette, rose and coriander. Crisp bergamot belies the sweetness of honeysuckle.

Providence Perfume Co Hindu Honeysuckle is available in 6 or 30 ml Eau de Parfum ($26 / 115).

I’ve heard good things about this line from friends and I really should pick up a sample pack.

I do think they’re one of the better new indie lines.

They are local to me and I love them-bought Osmanthus Oolong, Lei Flower and Tabac Citron. Their prices are so reasonable I don’t even feel guilty. Tabac Citron was the big surprise. I rarely like unisex, but this is so light and the tabac gives the citron a uniqueness. Try them.

Just wanted to add that I was pleasantly surprised by Tabac Citron myself. You think you’ve “smelled it all” and then someone goes and takes a classic pairing and turns it all on its head. Her Lavender
Vanilla body oil would appeal to you too, if you like Tabac Citron. Same musky underbelly. Love them both.

I’ll put in a plug for Indolice, too, if you like skanky jasmine.

At 30 ml was it for $115? I don’t think that cheap. Diptyque is busting out frags for 88$/50ml. I think that is much better. It doesn’t get much better than the fig and Eau Duelle.

Sorry, when I think of Indie Brands I think of a bunch a drugged out long haired hippee unbathed people…no thanks!! I’m a. Perfume snow. Watch lozenge me is the giddy, girl says the it’s a cheap thrill. I would much rather have ALLENDRO BY MAZZOLARRI, or PAPARADSJA BY SATELLITE. MUCH MUCH BETTER. Some wanna share with me?
