I used to love the Black XS for men, a fruity female fragrance in a black masculine bottle, the perfect excuse… there was something burned in there, like a hint of caramel or cocoa or coffee beside those red fruit notes. It’s funny how can I just remember certain accords from this.

Iggy Pop, not the best choice, at all…

I don’t know if he’s the best choice to reach this market, but I was at first appalled and then charmed by those images. They’re really quite funny.

I had the same reaction; his expressions are comically subversive.

Cool ad! At least for me , fed up with the standard wavy haired, dreamy eyed, flowy dressed ads for all them highly inventive releases out there in the department store stratosphere.

Agreed! This doesn’t bore me or insult my intelligence (okay, it might insult my taste), but it did make me laugh. I love Iggy!

Iggy looks like they tortured him to make him pose forvthese …

Or maybe he stopped for a quick pic on his way to the dentist – for a root canal …

If you’d imagine a better poster man/woman for these frags, who would they be?

Yep it must have been torture accepting the cheque! Does Iggy also represent car insurance in the US? as he does in the uk?

Absolutely brilliant. Iggy is the man, in case those gold sequined pants didn’t already let you know. 🙂

Saw many a Stooges show in my youth in Detroit. When I saw Iggy perform this year, I had a great spot at the front of the stage. He was close enough to touch. I didn’t detect scent, but maybe the folks who passed him around after a dive into the audience did.
