America's Next Top Model Dream Come True

The CW Network reality television series America’s Next Top Model will launch Dream Come True, a new fragrance for women, in January at Target.

The fragrance reportedly has a "very sweet, ethereal sensibility" and features notes of red currant, honeydew, freesia, Amazonian lily, plum blossom, peony, blondewood, vanilla, pink sugar and musk.

America's Next Top Model Dream Come True will be available in 30 ml Eau de Toilette ($21.99) or 30 ml Perfume Rollerball ($12.99).

I’m surprised it’s not called Smeyes

I am not going to get any of these references.

Smeyes = smile with your eyes. Tyra Banks is all about coining words and phrases. The worst one is “Ty-over” instead of “makeover”. File this under things I wish I didn’t know!

Gracious. She’s not very good at it if smeyes is any indication.

Am I the only one who watches NTM?
Last night’s episode had the entrants each naming, branding, and selecting notes for their own scent, which they were to tout to a group of fans. Of course it was painful to watch. The winner was Lisa, who is the most outrageous of the group. Her scent was called Neon.

I watched it too. Those poor, dumb girls kept prattling about their “brands”, as if any of them will be remembered after this “cycle” of the show is over. And I doubt that any of the contestants came up with the names of their “signature scents”, some of which were quite clever.

I don’t have tv, so I have to wait for any shows I want to watch online. I watch ANTM but I fastfoward to the photoshoot, review and elimination. Like all reality shows, all the hyped-up drama gives me anxiety attacks, but I to check out the fashion, styling and who they have for a photographer. Looks like I’ll have to watch the majority of this one though. I heard they were each going to be making their own scents.

    I laughed. “Blondewood”?

Yes, yes, I’ve seen “blond wood” used to refer to pale finishes of furniture. But this? just made me laugh.

At least they admit it’s going to be very sweet.

I won a signed copy of this bottle from Lisa D’amato for being one of the first to sign up to win a bottle following the finale win.

Nasty. Just nasty. I was thinking I could sell it on eBay, but I’m too embarrassed to list it. She only has 2,000-3,000 fans on FB vs. 30,000 for Allison. The fragrance is just as sour as the winner promoting it.

I thought it would be reminiscent of Lolita Lempicka, but they aren’t even close.
