I found it oddly light…not sure if I’m anosmic to it or what. Have sent the sample off to someone else to try.
And I am…intrigued. Eager to try it, hope it’s as rich and deep as the visuals!
It was not as deep & rich as I expected, but as I said above, I’m wondering if there is something in there that I can’t smell.

How odd! Im exactly the same, sprayed it in store & was expecting some wild & wonderful dark Tim Burtonesque weirdness, but it was surprisingly ordinary 🙁
Huh. But was it sheer? I could really hardly smell it at all.
Very sheer, especially as i was expecting a monster, given the brashness of their make up range! I got some on a card too & after half an hour what there was of it had pretty much disappeared too.
Ok then, perhaps it is not just me. Given the name, description & advertising, I did wonder.
I was expecting a snail slime note! 😉

Datura is closely associated with death in southwest Native American culture..and the Queen of the Night is a one-night bloom from a cactus which grows in the southwestern US. Supposedly the fragrance can be smelled from a quarter-mile away. Poison hemlock is a weed which does not really smell very good at all. Yikes, this juice should be toxic. I think I’ll pass.
I have actually grown ‘queen of the night’ (night-blooming cereus) myself and it actually bloomed for me. The flower it smells closest to is on the tip of my tongue, but I cannot think of its name. In lieu of the real name, I would have to say it is a lot like tuberose.Sorry–that is the best I can do…..it is earthy, sweet (but not cloying!), has a touch of narcissus, etc. I like it but it could possibly be too rich for some……..
