Roxana Illuminated Perfume Hedera helix ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 25 October 2011 7 Comments

Roxana Illuminated Perfume Hedera helix

Indie botanical line Roxana Illuminated Perfume has launched Hedera helix, a new natural green chypre perfume:

The eco-luxe, niche fragrance line Roxana Illuminated Perfume introduces a green chypre natural perfume titled Hedera helix, the botanical name for Ivy. As part one of the sacred plants of the Celtic forest and part of the Tree Ogham this tenacious, evergreen features a botanical palette of leaves such as peach leaf absolute, violet leaf and rhododendron on a bed of oakmoss and balsams. A classy fragrance with a modern, green twist.

Roxana Illuminated Perfume Hedera helix is available in liquid and solid formats, including samples ($8-$175), and can be found now at the brand's Etsy shop.

I have a few of her scents, and they are lovely. GreenWitch is my favorite of the line so far. I’m a huge fan of Chypres, must try this one!

I love ivy in fragrance (although not so much in real life) so I’m interested too!

I’ve heard amazing things about Roxana’s work, but I had always thought I’d never end up sampling any of them because of the price (they’re akin to Mandy Aftel’s work to me, in that regard). However, I guess a sampler set of 3 solid samples for $22 doesn’t seem too bad. I may go for it at some point. I love a green chypre.

Chypres are always a temptation to me, specially the female ones. This is so appealling!

@Joe, I love GreenWich for it’s mossy/salty notes. It’s so beautiful, I wore it nearly every day for a week when I first got it. I have the solid perfume, btw…
