Sweet Anthem boutique in Seattle

Seattle-based indie line Sweet Anthem has opened their flagship boutique in Seattle. The store will carry the entire Sweet Anthem fragrance line plus other indie brands, including Slumberhouse and L’Aromatica, selected by owner Meredith Smith (shown). Sweet Anthem will also feature perfume makings classes and a custom fragrance bar:

Perfume aficionados and novices can create their own fragrance from a menu of 200+ fragrance notes. No other store in the area offers such an individual, hands-on scent bar. Prices start at $28 for ¼ oz of perfume.

The Sweet Anthem Boutique is located at 6021- B California Ave. SW in Seattle, and will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 to 6.

I was just in Seattle in August! I wish I had known about this place then. 🙁

It wasn’t open then, if it’s any consolation.

Oh, I’m super excited about this!! Might be worth a trip up to Seattle just for this. I’ve been following her on Etsy forever. Really excited for her!

Will definitely stop by on my next visit to Seattle!

Tangentially, I picked up a bunch of Slumberhouse samples from indiescents and all were scrubbers (on me, at least). I had such high hopes. 🙁

A large part of my fragrance fascination can be credited to Meredith – we are online friends from back in the day. I met her via LiveJournal in 2004, I think. I followed along as she started her own line and now her store. So happy for her!!!

It’s actually in West Seattle, a little ways from downtown, and it appears to be15 blocks or so from another boutique: Knows Perfume:
