Phoenix

Posted by Robin on 6 October 2011 12 Comments

Keith Urban is holding a contest — make a 30 second commercial for his new fragrance, Phoenix, and you might win a prize. I don't think this one is a consumer entry, though. Whatever it is, it's funny.

I like it! I can’t say I care on iota about either Keith Urban or his fragrance, but the commercial is really fun. Like the kind of scruffy model, too, he just works. 🙂

Yes — very cute. Reminds me of some of the more clever Axe ads

Yep. Much better than many commercials that surely cost 10 times as much to make.

A great ad – but I suppose some eejit would claim false advertising. “It wouldn’t remove the stain from my t-shirt! It wouldn’t even turn off my alarm clock!”

OK. I’ll admit it. I’m not into C&W and had absolutely no idea who KU is until I checked Wikipedia. But I’ll take a gallon, please! 🙂

A perfume to hit the snooze button? A perfume to eliminate the effects of being a slob?
This is one aspiring advertiser who understands what the public really wants.

A perfume to turn a thunderstorm into a sunny sky? How about a perfume to turn a sunny sky into a thunderstorm? Texas needs rain. Lots of rain.
