Alexa Lixfeld 004 ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 7 September 2011 9 Comments

Alexa Lixfeld 004

Alexa Lixfeld has launched 004, her latest fragrance (see also: 001, 002 & 003):

What a joyful adventure of seduction... a naughty, almost rude, sexy heroine. It is enveloping, bold and warm-- but yet screaming out like a demanding explosion.

A luminous opening built around the zest of two different oranges: A bitter orange from Africa and a sweet orange from Italy; followed by an floriental heart. Tunisian orange blossom absolute grants the fragrance its alluring characteristic, with an almost solar-like charm, and surrounds itself with floral waves of sambac jasmine. The sensual, addictive trail is an alliance of honey and decadent vanilla from Madagascar.

Alexa Lixfeld 004 can be found now at Luckyscent, in 30 ml Eau de Parfum, $120.

I hate consecutively-numbered series. I can’t ever keep them straight.

This actually sounds rather nice, stupid ad copy aside.

Agreed, Mals. There’s still one of some numbered series that got good reviews (something with almonds which I love) that I can’t remember for the life of me but that I really wanted to try. 😉 But this does sound pretty enough to try and hopefully works better on me than the first three.

I like real names better too.

I really want to try these, and I really like this newest bottle…well, not the bottle, but the cap, I love the cap! 001 not so much, but 002, 003 and 004, I seriously want.

The caps are made from concrete, and they look great. Would love to see them in person.

Ok. I’m just not seeing it. Where are you seeing that this is 004? Am I expected to memorize color-coding? Why not just call it “Red Top” then? Seriously–I just looked at the reviews of 001, 002, and 003 and I don’t see numerals on those bottles either. Do I need a new monitor or new glasses?

I don’t know that the numbers are on the bottle/cap.

It sounds wonderful – but $120 for 30 ml of EDP? Eek. It had better be truly fabulous!

      Yeah, they’re spendy.
