Acqua di Parma Gelsomino Nobile ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 30 June 2011 12 Comments

Acqua di Parma Gelsomino Nobile

Acqua di Parma will launch Gelsomino Nobile, a new fragrance for women, in September. Gelsomino Nobile will be "an ode to jasmine", and follows Iris Nobile (2004) and Magnolia Nobile (2009).

Gelsomino Nobile is a fruity floral; notes include mandarin, tuberose, woods and musk. Reportedly the jasmine is a rare variety that was grown in Calabria especially for Acqua di Parma.

Acqua di Parma Gelsomino Nobile will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Sounds like jasmine may be the next (current) trend?

Which is fine with me! (for now, LOL…)

Ha ha…yeah, until we get bored with it! I love jasmine, too, though have not liked any of the “clean” scents released lately, such as Guerlain’s Jasminora…

And if this is done in the light/fresh/airy style of Magnolia Nobile, it will probably not be a “must buy” for me. They do a really good job though, if you like that style.

Yes, I always like a good jasmine. I’ll be interested to smell this one. I just got some of the Iris Nobile edp, and it is great! DSH has a “Gelsomino” that is really gorgeous.

I still adore the Iris EdT (which I think they don’t make anymore?); the EdP is more popular but it never grew on me.

I’m quite fond of AdP so I’m looking forward to this.

Wonderful! I look forward to trying this. I love Iris Nobile, the edt version because I found the edp too screechy on me. I loved the opening of Magnolia, but then it got too soapy on me. I’m always up for sampling a little jasmine 🙂 Thank you for letting us know, as usual 🙂

Yes, the Magnolia goes soapy on my too, after a lovely opening. Must try the Iris. My other magnolia is Kenzo’s Eau de Fleurs de Magnolia, which is lovely in the summer.
