It does sound nice…sweet & powdery is very “in” lately.

I like powdery and sweet esp. if it is tempered by woods or incense. I’ve tried not to swoon over this line but sometimes I can’t help it.

    Let the frenzy begin……………………………….

As for me I haven’t smelled even all of these yet so most likely I’ll be weighing in on people’s opinions through here and my other groups.
    Sounds yummy though….:D

Oh, he was talking about this when we saw him – we all got very swoony at just the idea. I need to go test Incense Oud soon so hopefully I’ll be able to get a sample or smell this one. I have to say from being a scoffing non-fan of this line, I fell madly in love after seeing his presentation. He is verrrry convincing. And cute.

      Very convincing! 🙂
When just a month ago he answered the question “What will be the name?” with a little shrug and “but-of-course!” look – “The Last Temptation”, I totally believed him.

I might as well just buy the darn bottle now. I will eventualy, I realize. By Kilian is just like a tractor beam sucking me down a hole.

LOL, same here Ikat! I had that exact thought the minute I saw the words “vanilla, myrrh, opopanax, benzoin and incense.” That’s all of my obsession notes in one bottle, and done by Kilian to boot? Sigh, my bottles of Back to Black and Straight to Heaven are going to have a little brother soon.

I believe my credit cards are even anticipating this buy. My wallet seems to be moving and you can hear a high pitched sound that if you listen very carefully seems to be quite a few little voices saying “pick me pick me”.

Yes. Just reading the notes out loud and my friend said, “sounds like you” and I’m thinking about running to Saks right now for a sample. I have the full presentation of Back to Black, the aluminum refill of Rose Oud, and the sampler pack with eight or nine of the fragrances in travel size (and it only comes with ONE atomizer). I don’t need another box but don’t they usually delay the release of the refills and travel sets for a while?

I wonder who the nose is? I love all but one of the Calice Becker Kilians, and none of those by the other nose (that I’ve tried – can’t speak to Incense Oud yet). But I believe Denyse said BK had recruited a new nose. Fingers are crossed!

I called my local Saks which carries the whole line and they didn’t know anything about it. 🙁

Thought I would report back with a little bit on the fragrance – I found it to be very unique, I don’t think I’ve smelled another scent quite like it, but I’m not sure it is for me. Certainly not my favorite in the line, but definitely an original sort of scent – the opening is very sugary (I was actually reminded a bit of root beer candies at first) but it dries down to a darker scent, can really smell the incense and vanilla.

I called my Saks and they didn’t have it but they said that they’re doing a pre-sale for it this month. I can’t wait to test it!
