Maison Francis Kurkdjian has launched Aqua Universalis Forte, a new variation on 2009's Aqua Universalis:
An aerial Eau de Parfum with an exceptional concentration of 40%, on a par with a Perfume Extract. At once light and powerful, like gold in summer. [...] Composing one more sheet of music for Aqua Universalis was a musical challenge for Francis Kurkdjian: and forte is the key.
The notes include bergamot, lily of the valley, seringa, jasmine, rose, woods and musk.
Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Universalis Forte is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.
Sounds lovely! I enjoy the original but it doesn’t linger long. I’ll try this and see if i can coax it to stick around for a bit….
I liked the original too, but have so many classic cologne – type things already. Will certainly try this if it makes it to Neiman Marcus though!
I like that, unlike other unmentioned brands that release a new fragrance (or god help us, a series) at the drop of a hat, FK refines and deepens the line up he started with. We had the Absolue versions of the Colognes, now the Forte. Nicely done.

“Light and powerful like gold in summer”? I’m pretty sure that gold is heavy for its volume and fairly soft in summer and any other season.
