Demeter Hello Kitty Spring, Plum Blossom ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 18 May 2011 15 Comments

Demeter Hello Kitty Spring perfume

Demeter has launched two new fragrances: Hello Kitty Spring, a flanker to 2010's Hello Kitty fragrance, and Plum Blossom.

Hello Kitty Spring ~ "Our new Hello Kitty Spring fragrance is a charming combination of fresh peach, strawberries and ylang ylang, with just a hint of caramelized sugar - a unique slant on the usual fruity floral, as only Demeter can. Perfectly balanced, like Hello Kitty herself, this scent will bring a smile to anyone who wears it or smells someone who is wearing it!"

Plum Blossom ~ "Capturing the delicate floral freshness of the beautiful pink plum blossom, this fragrance is gentle and sweet, yet tangy, with just enough of the intoxicating aroma of a succulent plum."

Demeter Hello Kitty Spring and Plum Blossom are available in 15, 30 or 120 ml Cologne ($6 – $39.50). Plum Blossom can also be found in matching bath, body and home fragrance products.

These sound nice, but the bottles are so cute I almost don’t care what’s in them. I have the My Melody one and I just like looking at it.

Good point. Although the kitty-shaped one at Sephora is more tempting to me than this one.

Cute bottle, the Sephora one, but the dry-down smells a lot like pipe tobacco. Sort of a for display only situation.

I have to ask — how is My Melody? Almond and Vanilla sounds wonderful, is it wearable? I like how they put thought into the fragrance personae of the Sanrio Characters …

My Melody was my favorite, and Chococat was my second favorite so now I’m wondering how that one is XD

I mean the characters. I haven’t tried this line.

I wish L’Heure Bleue came in a Hello Kitty bottle. I’d never buy anything else.

My wonderful sister bought me the kitty shaped perfume bottle while overseas (I haven’t seen it in Australia). She returned yesterday but hasn’t finished unpacking. I can’t wait to get my hands on it, I have a weakness for anything Hello Kitty!

Sigh, I so want to be above it all, and am so sadly not! A little Hello Kitty is crouching in my heart too / :

oh my god, the Sanrio one–“Japanese fruit flavored gum and scented erasers”
I may have to try that for the sake of nostalgia.
