MiN New York is holding a series of themed events this month pairing fragrances, drinks and food:

Celebrate the senses with our second installment of MiN New York's RITUALS, Series II: JOURNEY OF THE SENSES. A FEAST OF SCENTS. Each intimate session is an interactive plain-language discovery class on a unique sensory experience like no other. Your guided fragrance flight of curated scents will be paired with spirits & hors d'œuvres.

SCENTS FOR FOODIES ("Some of our most interesting guests here at MiN New York are actually accomplished Chefs and Sommeliers. Join us on a trip through the world of gourmand fragrances, edible, food-flavored aromas, such as coffee, cupcake, whiskey, chocolate, almond, caramel, vanilla, and even cotton candy. Sweet or spicy, gourmand fragrances have gained popularity in recent times, as these types of aromas possess relaxing, nourishing qualities. If you consider yourself a foodie, this session is a definite must!") on 17 May from 6 to 8 pm.

PERFUMED SPIRITS ("Niche fragrances are like spirits, but some sure are more potent than others. An increasingly popular trend in perfumery will be experienced through this extraordinary flight of cocktails & scents. This cocktail soiree is not for the faint of heart. Elixirs with gin, vodka, rum, whisky & absinthe will be served.") on 24 May from 6 to 8 pm.

APHRODISIACS ("In nature scent is a major player in the mating game. Pheromones are known by scientists to be a factor in animals attracting a mate. Through inhalation of specific scents hormone triggers are activated creating levels of arousal. The science isn't exact but it is sure that there is a physiological impact or psychological trigger as a result of smelling certain aromas. Join us as we nibble on, smell & drink 5 potions of love.") on 31 May from 6 to 8 pm.
