Gianfranco Ferre In The Mood For Love Tender

Gianfranco Ferré has launched two new fragrances in the In The Mood For Love series.

In The Mood For Love Tender (shown above), for women, is a flanker to 2009's In The Mood For Love. The green fruity floral was developed by perfumer Aliénor Massenet; notes include tangerine, cassis, polygonum (a natural aldehyde), jasmine, rose, lotus, cypress, musk and benzoin.

In The Mood For Love Man is a woody spicy oriental from perfumer Olivier Polge; notes include grapefruit, pepper, lavender, cardamom, coriander, orange blossom, patchouli, tonka bean and cedar.

Gianfranco Ferré In The Mood For Love Tender and In the Mood For Love Man are available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

I certainly want to try the In The Mood For Love Man. I’ve been successful with must Ferre…. and he was always my favorite designer.

I’m kind of intrigued by the Tender…..I’ve been looking for a good tangerine scent, and I’m fascinated by the addition of polygonum, which I am forever battling in the garden soil, though there’s a vine that is gorgeous. I think there is also an herb of this name.

I can’t take the name of the fragrance seriously…
