Givenchy has launched this year’s Harvest Collection (aka “Les Millesimes de Givenchy”), including limited edition versions of Amarige, Organza, Very Irrésistible and Ange ou Démon, each enriched with a specific floral harvest from 2010.
This year's fragrances: Very Irrésistible Givenchy Rose Damascena de Turquie (fruity and fresh, with green and raspberry accents; the rose comes from an organic crop), Ange ou Démon Le Jasmin Sambac de Chine (with apricot and honey accents), Amarige L'Ylang-Ylang des Comores (a powdery floral with the banana accents of ylang ylang) and Organza Le Néroli d'Égypte (crisp and ultra-fresh; the neroli comes from an organic farm).
The Givenchy Harvest Collection fragrances are 95€ each for 60 ml Eau de Parfum. (via nouvelles-esthetiques, femina.fr, gala.fr)
I have yet to try any of the “Harvest Collections”, and I have to admit that these all sound good!

The ones I’ve smelled have been really nicely done…nicer than the “regular” versions of these fragrances, and for not too much more $.
Wonder if that Amarige isn’t Comoros, rather than Colores? The rest all seem to have place names.

I haven’t smelled the collection for the past few years releases, but I’ll try and get to them this year. I agree with what you said above – these ones are normally very well done. I’d like to smell that Organza with neroli. Yum!

Ooooh… ever since Boojum made me fall in love with the Amarige Harvest Mimosa, these are on my radar.
Does anyone know if testers ever show up on any of the department store (Nordstrom/Saks) counters? I’d sure like to sample them.
We were just having this conversation on Facebook…I have not seen them the last couple years. Nordstrom used to have them, and so did Macy’s. No idea who will have them this year, if anybody — seems like more & more fragrances never bother to make it to the US.
I saw the ’09 ones very recently, as in, during January, at my local Dillard’s. They don’t seem to be at all stores though – kind of spotty as to which places they show up. I really like the ’09 Amarige and I keep debate buying it. sigh

I’v tried some from previous years and really loved them. I found them MUCH richer than the regular versions. BUT, none of them lasted at all on my p.g.s (perfume guzzling skin). As it has been said: sometimes natural ingredients are short-lived ) :

One of my first FB perfumes was the Ange ou Demon flanker, Le Secret. Maybe it wouldn’t have caught my eye (nose?) more recently, but it really is a pleasant fragrance. Not unique, a fruity floral with a citrusy-cranberry for the fruit, but it’s not stinky and not completely boring, either. In any case, I’d be willing to try another flanker to see what I think. . .
I know its months and months later but we have only just received these. They seem to have a much better lasting power than the last collection. Strangely enough the one with added ylang-ylang smells to me like very strong Jasmine. And, as Murphy may have predicted (since I’v gone off Jasmine ever since my A la Nuit overdose) this one has stayed strong on me for about 5 hours already. The one with rose was very pretty; its the softest of the three I tried, and I can’t detect it anymore. And, the ange ou demon with Sambac jasmine, is still exuding a rich, but muted, scent. I’m afraid I sprayed it on my hand and have at some point soaped it so thats why its muted. i assume its quite tenacious. I haven’t yet seen the neroli.
I don’t particularly like any of the Givenchy regular line-up but I do like the harvest collections. I think the added oils change the scent quite dramatically…I have wondered whether they are even close enough to retain the amarige, ange ou demon, very irresistable names. Then again, I haven’t done any side to side testing.
