Loved the mountain goat head that turns into a lyre. These are so much fun. Thanks for the morning smile.

I really love the dry sense of humor that’s portrayed by the actor in these ads.

That was kind of obscure. When Boing Boing posts something so awful that they worry about the physical and/or psychological trauma of viewing it, they follow with a “unicorn chaser” … often a silly picture of unicorns & rainbows. Meant to clear the bad image from your mind. I thought the Kardashian video I posted just before this was so terrible that it required one.

Ah! Thanks. Skipped the Kardashian so it was just all unicorns for me!

Ah, unicorns as palette cleanser! Got it. And thanks! I’m going to have to watch this a few more times *and* go take a shower, though, to get that oily residue off me from that Kardashian post.

I think the Kardashian might be the all time worst perfume commercial I’ve ever seen. But maybe I’m just forgetting something.

Just viewed the Kardashian ad – awful! Now I “get” the unicorn chaser. Definitely warranted and welcome!!!

Someone got paid real money to think up and make that ad? Wow..

Fuddy- Have you ever tried Old Spice? I liked it on my uncle when I was growing up and I like the smell of it from the bottle, but I haven’t ever actually wore it.

Now they have all kinds of Old Spice “flankers” — saw them in the drug store — really cute packaging, errr, I mean manly.

Just saw the Kardashian ad … I’m traumatized for life. (((shudder))) To cleanse my brain, I visited cuteoverload.com (the ultimate unicorn?), and was greeted with photos of a guinea pig with serious camera red eye marrying a Ken doll. Ha!

Thanks so much, Robin! There’s really nothing like Mustafa in a grass skirt intoning “Hello ladies” to brighten up a Monday! These spots are really the premium dark chocolate of perfume ads, aren’t they?
