Lanvin Jeanne La Plume ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 21 January 2011 13 Comments

Lanvin Jeanne La Plume

Lanvin will launch Jeanne La Plume, a new limited edition fruity floral for women. Jeanne La Plume is a flanker to 2008's Jeanne Lanvin, and follows last year's Jeanne La Rose.

The notes for Jeanne La Plume include apricot, pear, freesia, orange, raspberry, sandalwood and musk.

I will update with sizes and concentration when I can find them; Jeanne La Rose was in 50 ml Eau de Parfum and so this one is probably the same. (via parfum-femme.prime-beaute)

Update: Jeanne La Plum is in 100 ml Eau de Toilette, and was developed by perfumer Anne Flipo. (via cosmetiquemag.fr)

The original Jeanne was already fruity.

I have tried the first two as they are in stores here.. I find them very light and with almost no basenotes/drydown.
Not as lightweight as, for example The rouge or The blanc by bulgary, but on the same level as Armani Remix… faint hairspray.

It might work for some, though, as they are not BAAD, but just faint (IMHO)

I have smelled the Jeanne Lanvin, not awful, but disappointing. A fruity floral is not exactly the best tribute to that lady of high style! I will try this when it arrives but I am not expecting greatness.
