Avon Turn4XT ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 20 October 2010 10 Comments

Avon Turn4XT

Avon will launch Turn4XT, a new fresh woody oriental fragrance for men fronted by NASCAR driver Carl Edwards, in November. The scent is named for the last curve on the track before the finish line.

The invigorating drive of spicy pepperwood accelerates into a smooth, sexy finish infused with a jolt of java vetiver and masculine mahogany.

Additional notes include basil, cilantro, ginger, lavender, amber, cashmere woods and sandalwood.

Avon Turn4XT will be available in 75 ml Eau de Toilette, $26. (via media.prnewswire, additional information via wwd)

Avon picks some funny people to be the face of their fragrances.

Whatever they’re doing, it seems to be working for them.

His expression is so goofy 😉
Have you seen Talladega Nights with Will Ferral? The comedian from SNL back in the day? Anyways, he played a Nascar driver and in the movie he spoofed (among other things) all the advertising that drivers have to do. That’s why. 😀

That’s so funny! Now that you’ve said that he looks very cartoonish to me. 🙂

    Is it just me???
I’ve only been to a Nascar event once, but as I recall, there was nothing that day that could have me thinking of “fresh woody oriental fragrance”
