Penelope is such a talented actress; but this is so cheesy even she can’t pull it off. Oh dear.
I like Penelope Cruz better than Kate Winslet, but IMHO Kate Winslet is a better fit for this sort of thing.

Both myself and my husband have grown-up crushes on Penelope Cruz. We love her passionate character in “Vicki Christina Barcelona”. She is a bit smoldering for Tresor.

Good lawd that was corny! The way the music swelled as she turned, and ever so slowly her expression changed from disappointment to unbridled joy. Oy. It was too much for me, & I’m a hopeless romantic! LOL
Eh. Typical perfume ad to me. I like Winslet and Cruz, but didn’t know they had replaced Winslet as the Tresor woman.
Oh no! I laughed all the way through this – twice. But Cruz is so beautiful. I’ve admired her since I saw her interviewed on Charlie Rose with Almodavar.
Isn’t this the same music they used for the Kate Winslet commercial? Too soap opera-y for me. And I love Penelope Cruz but this commercial could be vastly improved if that mysterious man was Javier Bardem. *swoon*
Haven’t seen the Kate Winslet version, but I ran across the original Isabella Rossellini last weekend – much, much better than this one. It might have had the same music, too…
