It was fine. What fun it must have been to shoot it? I would have enjoyed myself. She’s gorgeous too. I am really looking forward to Love still. I really like the bottle. My Nordies had it in their upcoming releases folder and I totally forgot the date. Silly me. : )

Looks like it’s from the 70’s! (As Peter said, very Charlie!)

That was my first thought too — very 70s!

We’re all on the save wavelength apparently as I didn’t make the ‘Charlie’ connection right away [though now that it’s mentioned, it really is derivative!], but I kept thinking how 70’s the vibe was.

Turned out so beautifully! Glad they went with Raquel, she looks so lovely in all of Hannah’s designs. I think the 70s feel is very chic, though maybe that is because I didn’t live through the 70s so it is all still a little new for me.

gosh, am I the only one who thinks the commercial is really dull? Too much beige

It didn’t really strike me as dull…but they certainly weren’t going for a “story” commercial like Gucci or Chanel’s latest efforts, and certainly don’t think this rated the 3 teasers they put out for it. In other words, I didn’t think it was dull but nor did I think it was all that exciting.

But I seem to be the only one who thinks it’s funny that they said it wasn’t aspirational!! That cracked me up.

Wow! Within the 1st 15 seconds, I was saying “Charlie”! Check out the old Charlie commercial with Shelly Hack…it’s amazing similar right down the the same outfit color and car color…

How timely. There’s an article about Shelly Hack and the Charlie commercial in the October Allure. It talks about how the commercial was kind of symbolic of the women’s movement. Women were still hesitant to go out in public places alone in the 70s, apparently. I was pretty young in the 70s but I remember accompanying my mother out in public often. My mom always has been her own woman though. 🙂

The perfume also smells like it’s right out of the 70’s. It has a kinda “old fashion” smell about it, maybe that’s why i found it so over powering. Still like it though 🙂

I think there is an ‘old fashion’ smell about it too.
It has a very ‘makeupy’ smell and it gives me an instant and long lasting headache. Didn’t like it at all.
