Oh, that Une Rose Vermeille bottle is beautiful! That’s awfully pricey for 30 ml, though. 🙁 I’m not crazy about roses, so maybe I’m better off ignoring it…

I love that bottle too, but I’m curious what those little balls inside are? Or embossed on the bottle? Or is it just for the marketing shoot?

According to Andy’s newsletter, they’re “glass beads, like amber pearls, or sand on a beach, inviting you to dream a little daydream”. I think it’s beautiful, too.

The balls are lovely, but are they taking up precious space that could be occupied by perfume? Hmm…

You know, that series used to be done in 15 ml, right? So I sort of assumed so but didn’t ask.

It looks like he’s using the same bottle size/shape as for the other line, though, so maybe it’s intentional? 30 ml in a 50 ml bottle, rather than commissioning a new mold or whatever is used to manufacture the bottle? It would be very Andy to come up with such a beautiful way to solve that sort of puzzle to maintain the uniformity of his design.

Don’t forget that 30 ml of an Andy is like 100 ml or more of anyone else, pretty much! As far as I’m concerned, it’s parfum.
