She’s gorgeous, but after watching the making of video, not exactly a rocket scientist, is she? The music’s great, though, the guy is hot, and the overall look is good, and I guess that’s all that counts…It would be nice, though, if she could say something about the perfume other than “it’s all about the smell,” wouldn’t it?!
The whole thing seems like an absolute perfect fit for Guess — they are not after the rocket scientist market anyway.
Silver Birch Studio- I agree on all counts. Though if she looked like that and was a ‘jeanius’ (Ha! Boy, I need some sleep) it would be wildly unfair!
Robin – It does seem a perfect for Guess but I am surprised at a brunette Guess girl – aren’t they almost always blonde? I have been out of the US for over 10 years so maybe I am talking total rubbish though!
The early ones (back in my day!) were all blonde. Been a long time since I’ve been paying attention though. She just immediately looked “Guess” to me.
Well, in her defense she is only 20. She looks beautiful in the ad. When does the fragrance come out? Why did Guess leave parlux?
I don’t know when it’s due, but guessing soon. It will launch first in Europe, in Sephora — Guess is expanding in Europe, and that makes Coty a much better match. Coty also courted them…but can’t see that Parlux was doing an excellent job with Guess so sure they were happy to try someone else.
Macy’s sent me an e-mail about the fall scents being free to ship about 10 minutes ago and this was on there. You get a free purse with it. I clicked it and their older scents came up but not this one. Maybe it’ll be there when I wake up?

Silly girl – she spritzed straight on to her necklace. Not a good idea, usually. Someone should tell her about perfume and jewellery not being a good match.
An ad that seems less than the sum of its parts… beautiful people (her eyebrows!), great music, gorgeous cinematography, but it’s rather… flat.
