Lolita Lempicka Minuit Noir ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 16 July 2010 31 Comments

Lolita Lempicka Minuit Noir fragrance

Lolita Lempicka will launch Minuit Noir in October. The new fragrance for women is a limited edition flanker to the original Lolita Lempicka scent, now known as Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum.

Minuit Noir is a woody oriental, and is meant to be "a headier, sexier take" on Le Premier Parfum. The notes include iris, violet, licorice and patchouli.

Lolita Lempicka Minuit Noir will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum. (quote via osmoz, additional information via marieclaire.fr)

Sounds just like Lolita Lempicka Midnight, which I missed out on the first time around, so yaaaay!
Although considering that Si Lolita is STILL not in stores, I am a bit skeptical of the “October” claim.

You can still get Lolita Lempicka Midnight at Beautyencounter.com, I just checked.
It will be cheaper than this new edition and you still get the great dark purple bottle!
Darn it, I think I just talked myself into another blind buy – but since my last one was Mitsouko, I think I’m doing ok.

Thank you, Ruth! I’m sure you won’t regret this blind buy- I’m crazy about Lolita Lempicka. Love your avatar, by the way!

Yeah — they’ve already done Midnight Stardust, Midnight Flower, etc…this is another in that series.

Black bottle! *drool* (and I’m not a bottle hound, usually)

All the LL bottles are really well done.

Yep! I keep wanting to the love the frags so I can have the bottles, but so far, none have worked for me at all.

My sister wears them – if you want an empty bottle, I can ask! I feel the same way……

Me, too. The licorice in this scares me. Pretty black bottle– not worth it.

I like licorice in fragrance…and nowhere else.

Seems like most people have a love/hate relationship with licorice. I love to eat it– I get everyone’s unwanted black jellybeans– but don’t like the smell of it. It’s the one thing that keeps me from liking Aimez-Moi, and the licorice in combination with the violet in the first LL was enough to make me gag.

            Same here!
And only the apple bottles, mind me, the other ones just won’t do!

I can’t stand licorice on fragrances, so the only flanker of Lolita Lempicka I like is Fleur Défendue.
Anyway, I like that black apple bottle.

Oh my, that bottle. I think I could do a ‘headier, sexier’ version of LL.

I still feel like I’m the only person not really smelling the licorice in LL. Maybe I’m too used to the smell of absinthe and don’t pick up on anything more subtle than that.

Interesting…I think it is so strong! But smells more like licorice candy than absinthe.

I agree, I get strong licorice from it.

It’s not just you! Admittedly, I am a newbie but I don’t get licorice either which is jus as well because licorice and I are not on good terms. They still don’t do it for me but I do like the bottles- they appeal to my inner goth! Now if I could just find a ‘goth floriental’ with notes of bourbon, incense and maybe a bit of gardenia…

I don’t judge you at all. I have the apple bottle in several sizes lined up next to each other. 🙂

They are so cute! The only apple bottle I have is the sparkling light version. I need to get more. 😉

I like the sound of this! I wonder if Sephora will get it? I have to agree with Devibunnies, so I’m in no position to judge – a little collection of all of her bottles would be adorable.

I’m another one who loves the bottles but not the juice. Can’t do the licorice thing. $$ saved I suppose.

Oh! Want! I adore LL in all its incarnations and am so looking forward to this. I’ve kept the empty bottles because they’re just beautiful, and adore the whole style and marketing of the frag.

I do love the bottle. It happened sometime last year that I became a bottle fiend. This Lolita I would try and perhaps purchase solely for the bottle.

This screams Dior Midnight Poison to me – especially because of the apple shaped bottle.
