The third in the series documenting the Headspace symposium on “Scent As Design” that took place in March at the Parsons School for Design. If you missed them, here are part 1 and part 2. Part 3 is about 75 minutes long, and again you'll find a brief synopsis below the jump.

Part 3 starts with the third "accidental perfumer", activist and MacArthur Award winner Majora Carter, who worked with perfumers Pascal Gaurin and Bruno Jovanovic to create L'Eau Verte du Bronx du Sud. The section starts with a short film documenting the fragrance development, then Carter talks about the project, then (starting at the 13 minute mark) there's a short conversation between Carter, Gaurin and Chandler Burr.

At about the 25 minute mark, a panel on "Scent, Sensors and the Expanded Realm of Sensation" with William Hanson, Susana Soares, and Leslie Vosshall, moderated by Adam Bly.
