Posted by Robin on 6 May 2010 16 Comments

Smell Bent Wild West Trio

Indie line Smell Bent has introduced new Eau de Toilette concentrations of their fragrances, many of which are still available in oil-based formulas as well. They've also launched three new fragrances under the name Wild West Trio: Prairie Nymph, Desperado and Saddle Warmer.

Prairie Nymph ~ "honeyed beeswax, carnation, clementine, and soft musk. easy virtue in a spray!"

Desperado ~ "an outlaw blend of blood cedar, black seed, opoponax, gingergrass and saffron. it’ll make you come to your senses!"

Saddle Warmer ~ "white sagebrush, green peach, a splash of moonshine, and trail grass. this ain’t our first time at the rodeo."

mmm. These sound good! I haven’t smelled anything from this house before, but I’ve never been particularly tempted. Desperado is tempting me at the moment…

Haha, I love all of the drawings on the website. At some point I will have to try one of their scents. I had to search around to find a picture of the bottles… the cartoon pictures are on the bottles too. 😉

What a charming company! Does anyone know how I could get some of the magic here in the UK?

You’ll have to check the website — I thought they shipped internationally but could be wrong.

Oh, I love that “Giddie up Smellies” !!! Why can’t all fragrance PR be so clever and fun!!! I haven’t tried any Smell Bent, but these sound really fun. I am dying to know what a splash of moonshine smells like, lol. How about turpentine??

lol – I’ve actually had moonshine, although commercially made as opposed to in a still out in the woods, and it is just kind of a very light whisky-ish flavor. Not sure how that would translate into perfume, though.

Prairie Nymph gets my salivaries going, but they all sound interesting. I think a new Smell Bent order is in the near future.

I’m wearing Prairie Nymph right now and i am in love! The citrusy opening gave way to this muskiness that I can’t stop smelling! I ordered a bunch of samples because I love and collect oils and I threw in this spray on a whim and boy am I ever happy I did! And the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
