Kenzo Flower by Kenzo La Cologne ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 22 March 2010 14 Comments

Kenzo Flower by Kenzo La Cologne

Kenzo will launch Flower by Kenzo La Cologne, a new flanker to Kenzo Flower (2000), in May:

A new floral citrus fragrance. Colorful and vibrant.

A fresh scent, expressed through the choice of very noble ingredients. A more crystalline expression of FlowerbyKenzo with the combination of Rose and Neroli. A clear filiation with the classique Eau de Parfum through some of the floral notes and its musky, powdery base.

Flower La Cologne was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas, who also created the original Flower fragrance. The notes include bitter orange leaves, bergamot, orange, mandarin, rose, orange blossom, neroli, musk and vanilla.

Kenzo Flower by Kenzo La Cologne will be available in 90 ml, $72. (via press release)

Gosh, I still haven’t gotten around to trying Essentielle yet.

I’ll be happy to try this one too… eventually.

Hmm – I just happen to know someone who has a whole entire bottle of Essentielle….. Any ideas for the unfulfilled swap?

I was thinking of that when I typed that, Ann. I know I owe you an email! 😀

It’s really hard to keep up with Flower.

Oh boy, normally by now with all the flankers, I’d be rolling my eyes and clicking off to NEXT! …. But I do love the original Flower, and I super love the Essentielle… Kenzo does such a good job with all their fragrances! So I MUST try this one.

Agree — they do a better job than most with their flankers — many of them are as interesting or even more so than the original.

Kenzo is one of my favorite fragrance lines but the Flower flankers are driving me a bit batty.

Just said above they do seem to do a good job, but can’t disagree…wouldn’t think we need this many new variations every year.

I’ve been confused by all the flankers and can never remember which one I’ve tried…but this sounds so lovely, so perfect for our hot dry summers in Dallas, that I think I’ll have to make the effort!

It is confusing! But this one does sound like it might work in hot weather.

I just want to collect every single bottle of the Kenzo Flower variations there are and just display them nicely 😀

Yes! And this one is really nice — like that they used a different shape.

I liked it better than the original too…but still not so well as Flower Oriental.
