Fragonard Premier Peche ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 17 March 2010 20 Comments

Fragonard Premier Péché fragrance

Fragonard has launched Premier Péché, a new fragrance for women:

A perfume of carefreeness.... Made from rose with a touch of libertine, innocence of violet and delicate freesia on top notes.

The EDT Premier Péché infuses together jasmine and tea on iris as base note, patchouli and vanilla-softened musk.

Fragonard Premier Péché is available in 200 ml Eau de Toilette. (via Fragonard at Facebook)

Is libertine a fragrance note, or is it supposed to be some kind of saucy rose?

      I think it’s a saucy rose 😉

200 ml? It would take me years to go through that much edt. They’re practically asking you to split it. 😉

Life’s moderately less chaotic lately. I’m here when you get a moment. 🙂

The old Fragonard bottles, IIRC, had screw off tops — so easy to split!

Totally split worthy. It sounds nice and I like that bottle.

I kept looking for the “peach” note, thinking they overlooked it in the list because it was “obvious”….

… then realized it’s “Original Sin” (péché) not “First Peach” (pêche). Heh. 😉

Have you tried the MDCI Peche Cardinale? I kinda dig it.

I think Daisy kinda hated it, but I thought it was well done, if sweet. I recently got a dab of KM Peau de Pêche, and that’s nice too, for that kind of fruity thing.

Yep, it got me on the same thing – I was thining ooh, peaches & roses! Maybe a Nahema light? Too bad. Would this be “first sin” in English? Doesn’t really go with all the frou-frou, but it reads nice… It is a shame that Fragonard samples are so annoying with those towlette-wipettes – it makes it hard to retest and consider.

I have nothing against the House of Fragonard – but their fragrances are real hit or miss and often smell like other fragrances on the regular old market… just saying in case someone’s credit card is melting thinking of splits…………………………………. 🙂

I’d agree with that, although I do really like a few of them.

you aren’t referring to this smoldering lump of plastic sitting here on the desk are you? oh heck no—I’ve got my Guerlian-apalooza still hanging over my bank account’s head….no more buying for me!
