I put on some Pure Poison a couple days ago after not wearing it for a few months and forgot how much I loved it for what it is. It is a really sexy white floral and I’ve had a lot of men come up to ask what I’m wearing. The flanker bath and body products are lovely, too.

Sheesh, the poor girl looks like she’s going through heroin withdrawal.

LOL…true, although I still like this one. Not, to me, a good fit with the perfume though.

She seems terribly upset about something.

Oh, and the computer graphics used to create that thing–is it supposed to be a panther?–are seriously effed up; it looks more like one of the aliens from Alien 3.

Is this meant to make us want to buy perfume?

Oh, I’m guessing this one *did* sell some perfume!

Um, I love perfume but I’m not /that/ crazy about it. o…o

I definitely thought this was cool, though. Very Galliano’s Dior.

LOL…yeah. But agree it’s a well-done, very Galliano ad (and he reportedly did the art direction)

That little video just made my day. What fun!
Oh, and now I want to smell it.

It doesn’t smell like the ad, IMHO — it’s not “fierce”.

I’m with Rustic Dove, that was scary on all sorts of levels.

DH and I chose this as my wedding fume, so yes, it is a little odd for me to watch a black panther run between a junked-out looking model’s legs before she crawls across the floor a la the well scene in “The Ring.”

Lol pyramus, “She seems terribly upset about something!”

Yeah — wouldn’t think the ad was for anything you’d wear to your wedding. But as I said above, don’t think the ad is at all a good fit with the scent.

The way she moved across the floor was reminiscent of The Ring wasn’t it?! LOL

We live in a world of contrasts don’t we? Compare this to the new offering from Avon that we heard about the other day – ‘Eternal Magic’, or whatever it is. Well, it makes life interesting.

If Pure Poison is not a good fit with the ad, I might give it a try. For years I have been put off the Poisons because when the original came out someone I knew bought it and wore it often. It certainly suited her.

Oh, then you ought to try all the Poisons…they’re not related smell-wise. Hypnotic Poison is my favorite.

I reeeally wanna try Midnight Poison. Pure Poison is disgusting, and the orignal poison? I’m scared to even speak of it. It almost killed me at kohl’s. No joke. I loooooove Hypnotic, though! This is probably one of the worst perfume commercials, imo

I liked Midnight Poison, but it isn’t nearly so wonderful as Hypnotic Poison IMHO.
