LVMH vs eBay, again

A French court on Friday ordered online auction site eBay to pay 80,000 euros (118,000 dollars) to Louis Vuitton for selling fake luxury perfumes, LVMH said.

"The court found that in using key words from certain LVMH brands, eBay had commited several acts of counterfeiting," LVMH said in a statement.

This week, we’re helping Ammy. Ammy is in her late teens, and she lives in Asia. She wants to find…

…a daily wear perfume that’s also an extension of my personality (or rather an extension of who I think I am). Something that’s fun and flirty with a wild side that’s slightly sultry.

She’d also like something long-lasting but not overbearing, and “sweet without smelling like I was doused in cotton candy”. Ammy says she’s fussy and rebellious, and she likes to party but still prefers a good book at the end of the day. She wants to be mysterious, but she’s very predictable…

Studs in shorts

THE new Hollister store, on the corner of Houston Street and Broadway, has a smelly problem. Along with the studs in shorts standing by the door, the Hollister fragrance is billowing out into the streets, neighbors complain.

Liz Earle Botanical Essence No. 1

UK-based natural skincare brand Liz Earle will launch Botanical Essence No. 1, the line’s first fragrance, next month. Botanical Essence No. 1 is reportedly 98% natural, and was inspired by the line’s Instant Boost Skin Tonic.
