Lazy Thursday, so lazy there isn’t even a poll…

I’m terribly behind on a number of non-perfume things, so no review and no poll today, sorry! Erin will have a post tomorrow (5 perfumes for: Drama), and next week we’ll have reviews of Comme des Garçons Daphne, Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne and more.

And in other lazy news, I was hoping to start the Prix Eau Faux around now, but have been so busy with other things that I never got started, and now soon we’ll be pushing into the holidays. So…I think we’re going to skip 2009, and start accepting entries for the next round in early January 2010. But in 2008, we started with a contest to name the contest, and I’d like to do something similar this year: start with a contest to come up with a contest logo…

The American Line ~ new fragrances

The American Line is a new series of officially licensed fragrances for men in the US Military (fragrances for women are reportedly in the works). A portion of the proceeds will be donated to military-related non-profit organizations.

Really fascinating how they do it

I like pretty fresh, clean scents. I don't like a barrage of smell, so I started talking with Givenchy about how do you achieve that fresh, clean scent? And they 'learned me' about citrus and wood flavours that you kind of add in to create that type of aroma. It's actually really fascinating how they do it.
