Andy Tauer of Tauer Perfumes is holding 24 days of giveaways for Advent this year. Now Smell This is hosting today's prize draw, which is for a limited edition handmade Thuja wood treasure chest from Morocco containing a 50 ml bottle of one of the perfumes from the Tauer line (you can see a picture on our last gift post here, or see more views at the Tauer webshop). The lucky winner will also get one sample of an "experimental, fresh from the lab" fragrance called Eau d’épices.
For a chance to win today's prize, leave a comment below. We'll be accepting comments through tomorrow morning (2 December), at which point a winner will be chosen at random.

I’ve meant to try the Tauer fragrances for a while, but never got around to it. After reading all of the complimentary posts here I knew that the time is now, so I visited the site and ordered the “Teaser Set” of all eight samples. They work out at around $3.00 for each sample (around 1.0 to 1.5 ml) plus they ship free. That sounds like a good deal to me. Cheers!

Congrats bevfred! Andy Tauer is the best. Who else is as generous and kind as he–not just in the perfume world but in the world in general. I usually don’t get into these contests because I have never won a thing in my entire life and had given up on entering anything, however, as this was an Andy Tauer give-away, I just had to do it.
Enjoy whatever fragrance you chose–they are all pretty great, although I’m sure we all have our favorites.
