Ohhh! I love candles. I’ve never tried Diptyque’s before. I’m on candle restriction-set off the fire alarm too many times this week! Hubby is not pleased….. 🙂

I smelled the new Benefit Laugh with me LeeLee-to me, it was very sharp, with ozone notes. My friend, loved it though.

I have not tried this particular Diptyque candle, but they’re generally very good quality.

Mind you, I tried most of them and the scents they give off are rather FLAT. Some might get quite dissapointed, particularly having in mind the price tag with which they come.

I have not tried the solids, and only a few of the liquids, but they’re generally pretty good for the price.

They are cute! I haven’t tried the solids (they don’t work for me), but their Ex Libris scent is really nice.

That sounds really interesting! I have one Diptyque candle — the Tubereuse — and it’s one of the best candles I’ve ever had.

Anthropologie usually has some testers, if that helps.

I felt in love with three Diptyque perfumes, Tam Dao, Philosykos and L’Ombre dans L’Eau and I’d love to try one of their candles, but boy, I find them expensive. Which one would you girls recommend I shouldn’t miss?

They really aren’t cheap! We have the same favorite Diptyques. Here’s Pia’s review of their fig candle:

I have already tried a few, they’re all interesting, depending on your tastes! Normally I open them first, and they start releasing the scents without even having to burn them 8this phase can last a couple of weeks). They normally last quite long, because burning 1 hour at the time is enough. At the moment I have the “la belle et la bête” twin-set ( a special edition) , my aunt loves the fig, and my mother the hay (foin coupé) and verveine ones. So no single recommendation, it’s really up to you!
