Custom perfume seminars in New York

Posted by Robin on 6 September 2009 8 Comments

Sue Phillips of Scenterprises will be hosting custom perfume seminars every Tuesday in September and October:

The multi-sensory Seminar includes an interactive, creative, educational session all about the history and joys of fragrance.  We take you on an olfactive fragrance 'journey' to explore and discover magnificent perfume blends.  Sip wine and nibble on delectable treats as you explore sensory fragrance delights!

At the end of the seminar select your very own blends which become your 'formula.'  Name your perfume, register your formula and leave with a Certificate of Registration and your very own bespoke perfume.

Seminars are held 6 - 7:30 pm at 330 East 38 Street #15A in New York City; the fee is $45 and prices for the fragrances range from $25 to $135. You can register here. (via press release)

Alas, again something for New Yorkers who spend their days smelling exhaust fumes and diesel buses and nothing for us who live in clean air spaces.

HA. Those of us who live in clean air spaces must be contented with just the clean air 🙂

The price is fabulous, but the commute is a bitch. As an aside–I drink club soda with two spritzes of Angustora Bitters. I wish I could make a fragrance that smells like those bitters–YUM!
