Yeah, I don’t get out much. 🙂 But there is a Nordstrom’s close to me, so maybe I can drag myself there some night after work.

usually the first line that they exclude from coupons/discounts is Amouage! (I read thru twice just in case) And sure enough I plopped it in the cart and applied the coupon and it worked! muwahahhahaa!

sorry in my fevered rush to get a bottle, I neglected to mention that I was talking about beautyencounter …one of my favorite places to spend $$….but I’m sure you knew.

Oh, I knew where you meant, but didn’t realize they usually excluded Amouage. Double good for you then!

I just emailed the CEO instructing him where to hide the box when it gets here…he’s well trained in these matters.

Sadly, they excluded just about everything I was considering, lol. Just as well though, I really need to start making a real, prioritized list and THEN start noticing the sales. Otherwise I’m just lured into buying dross bc it’s “a great deal”.

I find having a “to buy” list really helpful in that regard!

Dia was at the very top of my “Waiting for September” list….and you can see how well that worked. Yikes….but for 20% off and free shipping; the CEO can hide the box in his closet just a bit longer. For all of my Rabid Enthusiasm, there’s only 3 bottles left on the list: Guerlain SDV, Frapin 1270, and Divine L’ame Soeur.
of course I do have those Amouage Epic samples on the way…..
            Budget busters every one!

I’d like to mention at this point that I haven’t bought a pair of shoes in two years, I own exactly one dress, and I never eat out (really, never–the hubby hates restaurants and the last time I took J. to Outback Steakhouse for her birthday (4yrs ago) smoke from the other side wafted over to us, gave us both headaches and we haven’t gone since!) Oh, I don’t go on vacations either. So now you know why my perfume budget is what it is. 🙂

Ha, Daisy, I can pretty much match you on all those…and my budget is still about 1/10th of yours. 😀 I blame the $970/mo daycare expense.

You got that right! You need to get that girl in SCHOOL! but then I suppose you can’t turn that $970 into your new monthly perfume budget, huh? That exceeds my quarterly budget, by a fair amount… Of course recently I’ve been exceeding my quarterly budget BUT I’m a newbie and I’m trying to get it under control…thus the list.
