It is fun, and we don’t get enough fun perfume commercials. Thumbs up from me!

Yup, exactly. I’m a little tired of the overly-dramatic-I’m-so-sexy-I-can-hardly-stand-it ads…….I’d rather just have fun.

LOL rilly. she’s insipid and the perfume looks pretty banal as well.

Boss is so all over the map i don’t know if they know who their market is anymore. yawn. next please.

She’s a cute little homewrecker. haha As for the song – I’m not sure if this is The Beatles original version of “Drive My Car” or if it’s a remake. If it is a remake – it sure is similar to the original.

Yeah, she might be a homewrecker but quite frankly a single woman who takes up with a married man is a ‘ho’ and not deserving of respect. But a married man who takes up with another woman is both a ‘ho’ AND an adulterer. IMO those were his vows to uphold so I place 95% of the blame right on his worthless shoulders.

Oh, I’m not trying to be harsh to RusticDove…..sorry Rustic if that came off as laying into you….I sure didn’t mean it that way.
I was just commenting that there’s plenty of responsibility for homewrecking going on in that particular arena from both ends.
In the end it’s none of my business what celebrities do with or to each other….so I’ll just be quiet now….

To be fair, we do NOT know the situation… they may have had a private separation that became public after he got involved with her.

She is cute and clean looking. Fun ad.

Balthazar Getty isn’t the first married man she’s had a relationship with. Jude Law was still married to Sadie Frost when he met/started a relationship with Sienna. There are other relationships she is rumored to have ruined…

          • Daisy says:
            6 July 2009 at 8:40 pm

Didn’t Jude Law then cheat on her ? Once a cheater always a cheater…. and of course….what comes around goes around…..anybody else want to chime in with some proverb type stuff?

I agree – it is incredibly hard to tell whether this song is a remake or just a slightly different mix. In fact, it’s doing my head in a little. I can’t really see why anyone would bother making another recording this close to the original (unless of course if it saves the ad producers some royalty payments), but it does sound just slightly different.

I’ve heard that the royalties for Beatles songs are extremely high, but that the cost to use the original recordings is so astronomical that any Beatles song you hear in a commercial is a close cover. My guess is the Fab Faux or a good group of studio musicians. Maybe it’s the same people who re-recorded the songs for Guitar Hero.

I smelled it, and I think this one IS cute: to me it smells like Dalissime of Salvador Dali, which is very cute IMHO. It’s fruity, but not like all the modern fruty-florals, and I think it’s more interesting then a lot of them.

Who wants to make trouble!? She’s an adult, he’s an adult, and morals are for moralists, not perfumistas. I’d like more info on the fragrance. Anyone … when is it available, what are the notes, etc.? I’m new to the brand.

I’m new here (though I read this blog ALL the time! and love it senseless). I think this ad is kind of generic looking and something about Sienna Miller is offputting to me. I’m not sure what it is about her (though I used to love her on that short run Keen Eddie series, I know I’m alone in that sentiment!) Still, I’d like to test it sometime.

“The scent features notes of apple, orange blossom, jasmine, plum, white peach, vanilla, sandalwood and olive tree wood.” Could be interesting..

Hi & welcome! I really don’t know her at all (& don’t know what Keen Eddie is — I never know anything) so she doesn’t put me off…just think it’s a fun ad. Haven’t tried Boss Orange though!

As for Ms Miller – she stayed in my city while making a film and was quite rude, referring to us as *hitsburgh instead of Pittsburgh.

The Band is The Hot Rats – there is a note on the youtube vid comments.

The bottle reminds me of one of those things you put your pills in to remind you to take them every day. The ad is cute, though. And as someone who has had her share of married guys, I’m not sayin’ a thing.

I tried the scent the other day and felt almost physically sick. For anyone who finds Prada Infusion de Fleurs d’Oranger to be like furry orange cordial, this is clearly a cheap knock off. Nice bottle, but open at your peril!
