Kenzo’s field of poppies in Lyon, France, part 2

Posted by Robin on 2 June 2009 11 Comments

Many thanks to Megan, who kindly shared her pictures of the field of "poppies" planted by Kenzo in Lyon last week:

According to Megan, staff were handing out promotional postcards sprayed with Kenzo Flower, but they weren't selling the fragrance at the event. They started giving away the poppies in the evening.

Beautiful and ironic, just like Kenzo Flower.

Yes, I know they did Moscow & Madrid, and I think Paris? Nice idea.

they also did that in Vienna, which surprised me since basically nothing happens here lol.

Thanks — missed that! But surely more happens in Vienna than in my small town 😉

    Looks great.

Oh, and Prism, if you think nothing happens in Wien, I’d gladly swap you my apartment in Santa Barbara for 2-4 weeks, anytime! 😉

I have a few lj friends who live in Vienna and they’re *always* complaining about how boring it is. I think I’d gladly switch places with them. I’d get that weird entrepreneur guy to take to the Opernball.
I live really close to Vienna, Virginia btw. Literally nothing happens in Vienna, Virginia.

Reminds me of the traditional Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.” Sometimes I am grateful that nothing ever happens where I live!
