Paul Smith Man, Creed Acqua Fiorentina ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 25 May 2009 14 Comments

Paul Smith Man Creed Acqua

Paul Smith will launch Paul Smith Man in July. The new fragrance is meant to embody British elegance and to be "truly Paul Smith, truly addictive".

Paul Smith Man was developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson, and features notes of bergamot, yuzu, anise, patchouli, incense, iris, violet and tonka bean.

Paul Smith Man will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.  (via bellemania.de) Update: Paul Smith Man is a woody iris fragrance, and is meant to...

...be more accessible than the previous men’s scent, Paul Smith Story, which was “a bit too intellectual” and attracted mainly lovers of niche fragrances. (via cosmeticnews)

Also new from Paul Smith: Paul Smith Rose Summer Edition.

Coming soon from Creed: Acqua Fiorentina, a new fruity floral perfume for women built around plum and green gage plum.

Additional notes include rose, carnation, lemon, bergamot, sandalwood and Virginian cedar.

Creed Acqua Fiorentina will be  available in 30 and 75 ml. (via joyce.fr)

Looking forward to Paul Smith Man. I guess that’s why they discontinued London, to make way for this one. London will always have a special place in heart though, for being the very first fragrance that got me into the world of scent!

Yes, as far as I’m aware it’s been discontinued. It’s no longer listed on the Paul Smith site and seems to be disappearing from stores too. It’s a shame as it really is quite a unique little scent.

It isn’t easy to find Paul Smith testers here…I do like Story, but that’s really the only one I’ve tried.

What’s going on in that picture? He’s so much larger than her, it’s surreal.

      I was looking at that too….either it’s an unfortunate camera angle…….or he’s a giant…

Eww, has anyone actually smelled this? It smells like cheap victorias secret body splash or something.. why anyone would ever pay extreme prices to smell like a rotten watermelon is beyond me!!

Is that the Paul Smith or the Creed? But either way, somebody somewhere will buy it 🙂

Something about Paul Smith Man smells very much like Dior Homme in the opening stages…
