Cèdre-Ambré sounds really great. If I purchase it, either for myself or for the mister, I will admit I'll have a hard time not shouting “It's a Pierre Cardin!” in my best Frank Costanza voice…

Pierre Cardin was one more thing: that unapologetically phallic bottle of after shave or cologne that everybody's dad had sitting in the bathroom.

    Also neckties.

Platinum, agree — PC was one of the first to go overboard with the licensing of his name, he really ruined whatever upscale reputation he originally had. These do look really nice — much nicer than much of the current PC line.

um, are these unisex? or is the Cedre-Ambre for men & the Iris Sauvage for women?

i love the sound of both of these. they appear to be aiming high, i want to try the Iris Sauvage, mint, cardamom, vetiver and iris? wow! the pineapple has me a wee bit worried but the other notes sound fabulous.

The ad says they're both for men. But I find a lot of men's scents can be worn quite nicely by women, too, and vice versa.

drats! If the others are anything to go by, the should be reasonably priced but that was what we said about the 4711 range and they are not that cheap.
