Benetton Essence of United Colors of Benetton ~ new fragrances

Essence of United Colors of Benetton fragrancesBenetton will launch Essence of United Colors of Benetton next month. The new fragrances are meant as a "more sophisticated offer designed to emphasize the fragrance’s link with the fashion label".

Essence of United Colors of Benetton Woman is a fruity floral developed by perfumer Alexandra Kosinski, and features notes of peach, orange, bergamot, freesia, rose, jasmine, patchouli wood, vetiver and white musk.

Essence of United Colors of Benetton Man is a fresh fougère developed by perfumer Christophe Raynaud. The notes include iced lavender tea, cardamom, mandarin, pineapple, nutmeg, geranium, mossy notes and amber.

Both Essence of United Colors of Benetton scents will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products. (quote via cosmeticnews, additional information via cosmoty.de, bellemania.de)

    I have to honestly say I'm surprised that house is still cranking it out. Maybe it's still huge in Europe (not sure it ever caught on as much here as over there anyway, even during its 80s heyday).

    I loved Benetton when I was in high school, and that was many moons ago…I've no idea if the brand is still “big” with young people. I don't see as many of the stores as I used to though.
