Off on vacation…

Posted by Robin on 9 August 2008 30 Comments

Beach

I'm leaving today for two weeks at the beach. The blog won't be idle, though: tomorrow, look for Pia's review of EO Peppermint & Tea Tree hand soap. Next week, Angela will continue with the "Cheap Thrills" theme that Kevin kicked off on Friday with the Axe Proximity reviews (look for Dana Tabu, Revlon Charlie & more). I might be a little slow with shopping reports and new fragrance announcements (and I'll almost certainly be slower than my usual slow at answering emails), but I'll do my best to keep up.

Enjoy your holiday Robin, you really deserve to have a good break 🙂

Beautiful picture, reminds me of my home country The Netherlands on a bright sunny day.

This looks like my daily view here in Anna Maria Island, Florida. Even though I know I'm a lucky gal, I long for a least one different season?! Fall maybe… with cool breezes and crisp apples and orange pumpkins. Why do we always want for what we do not have?!

Enjoy the vacay, Robin. Although I live close enough to the ocean here in Santa Barbara, I was lucky enough to visit with my family for almost a week in Long Beach Island NJ last month (for the first time in YEARS) and I really miss the east coast/NJ beach life! I hope that whereever you spend yours is wonderful, and fingers crossed for good weather!

Have a great holiday, Robin! Will you be wearing exclusively ozonic or beach-themed perfumes? Probably not… though Ecume de Rose might suit? I live in a landlocked county with lots of canals at least but no sea, though as a kid in Ireland we had a caravan by the beach, which was lots of fun.

Thanks Kayliana! The picture is of Delaware.

When I lived out west, without seasons, I missed them too. Now that I've got them again, I could live without them 🙂

The east & west coast beach lives are so different, aren't they? I like both versions. And thanks — looks like we're going to have lots of good weather.

Vanessa, I seriously didn't bring any perfume — decided a break would be a good thing!

A caravan by the beach in Ireland sounds so lovely.

Shriek!!!!!! A nude holiday!!! Have a good one, R. Enjoy the big hot yellow ball that people who don't spend their days on the web call The Sun.
