Kate Moss for Chanel fragranceRumors that Kate Moss would launch a perfume with Coty have been confirmed. Her debut fragrance will roll out in September, but won't reach the United States until 2008:

A lot has been made of Luca Turin’s statement, as quoted by Chandler Burr in The Emperor of Scent, that Caron Tabac Blond is “dykey and angular and dark and totally unpresentable”, and that a man who takes a woman wearing Tabac Blond to meet his mother is set for trouble. For sure, if the mother is looking for a gently floral daughter-in-law with a cashmere sweater set and a subscription to Good Housekeeping, she will be disappointed. But Turin’s larger discussion is often overlooked, that Tabac Blond embodies the wit and intelligence of chic. Turin ends his rant about the sorry state of chic these days by saying that a savvy mother will admire the style of her son’s Tabac Blond-wearing lover…

Calypso St Barth Lily ~ new fragrance

Calypso St Barth Lily perfumeLily is the third fragrance release from Calypso St. Barth, best known for the cult favorite Léa. The notes include blackberry, strawberry, rose and musk (and presumably, lily). Calypso St. Barth Lily is available now at the Montaigne Market boutique in Paris, 60€ for 100 ml. (via fashionmag.fr)

Update: additional notes include cassis, lemon, Italian tangerine, white peach, raspberry and sandalwood, and Luckyscent describes Calypso St Barth Lily as "airy and sexy and flirty". The Eau de Parfum is $90 for 100 ml.
