Cinq Mondes Pluie d’Aromes ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 29 November 2007 2 Comments

French spa line Cinq Mondes has launched a collection of five aromatherapy fragrances "for body and spirit" under the name Pluie d’Arômes. The fragrances were created by perfumers Olivia Giacobetti and Jean-Pierre Bethouart:

Pluie d’Arômes Rituel du Siam is for self-confidence, and features sparkling citrus, coriander, ginger, pepper, cinnamon and gaïac wood.

Pluie d’Arômes Rituel de l'Atlas, Maroc is for energy to undertake and engage, and includes bigarade, rose, orange blossom, cedar and benzoin .

Pluie d’Arômes Rituel de Kyoto, Japon is for the desire to excel. The notes are angelica, rose, ginger, geranium and cedar.

Pluie d’Arômes Rituel de Java, Indonésie is for reflection and decision-making, and features eucalyptus, cinnamon, cedar and patchouli.

Pluie d’Arômes Rituel de Bengalore, Inde is for easing tension; the notes include citrus, grains of rice, vanilla and cardamom.

The Pluie d’Arômes collection fragrances are in 50 ml Eau de Toilette (€49) and in matching candles and bath oil. (via beaute-addict, cinqmondes)

Eh, the new age-y vibe isn't really my thing, but the easter egg colors are pretty and appealing in the photo. (I'm such a child like that – “ooh pretty!” LOL!) The notes in Inde sound good (like really fragrant rice pudding maybe).

The new-agey thing doesn't appeal to me at all, but would love to try these. Eau Egyptienne is nice, and betting these are too. The Inde was the one that appealed most to me also!
