Notes that make you say, hmmmm. Different, will have to try it!

*I also have a song stuck in my head now with a chorus of “Eglantine – Eglantine, oh how you shine!” So, thanks for that! 😀

It is an odd mix of notes — could be different! But I've not been a huge fan of the Escada fragrance line in the past.

And happily, I don't know that song so did not catch your ear worm 🙂

I'm just content to go around chanting “Refute dullness” to myself for the rest of the day. That has to be the first time I've seen the word “refute” in a perfume marketing blurb.

Kind of a cool bottle, too.

Hmm…yet again another fragrance called 'an initial'. I wonder if all of the fragrances with 'an initial' for a name were put together and moved around, if there would be some sort of secret message, some secret word. Any fragrances called 'a vowel' yet?

LOL — hope it improves your day! Here, I'm just denying that I'm bored.

I just HATE the initial names! Utter lack of creativity. And we've already got S de Scherrer. L is even worse (Gwen Stefani, Lolita Lempicka, Gwen Stefani). Can't think of a vowel though….other than O de Lancome which maybe only sorta counts. But if Gwen Stefani keeps it up, we'll get A next, right?

I won't even try this one. I'm only truly interested in fragrances with lots of wood and fabulous leather.

well, there's O! de Moschino, and perhaps we could let 'Y' (YSL) in as a vowel?

S probably stands for Shoot me.

Why is Escada so terribly fickle with their fragrance releases? Especially for men. Perhaps I just care a little bit too much. But anyway, I'm terribly enthralled at the idea of this one. It sounds like it could be great. When should it be on the shelves? I didn't see it at Sephora today.

    Fickle how??

It just went online at Nordstrom today, so not even sure they have it in the brick 'n mortar store, and don't know if anybody else has it yet. IIRC, these go to the dept stores before they go to Sephora. (Neiman Marcus had them early in the season last year).

Oh, duh, thought we were talking about the Escada Moon Sparkle that I posted today, sorry!!! Escada S — I know people have smelled it because I've seen comments, but I've no idea who has it or where. I haven't been to the mall in weeks!

I didn't see it at Dillards either, but I haven't been in Macy*s, Nordstrom, or Neiman Marcus lately so it could be one of them.

As far as fickle, I guess I'm more in reference to their men's fragrance. For women, they're pretty consistent. But when they release a men's fragrance, GOOD GOD it's like pulling teeth! There's only been like 6 releases since the first one in 1993. And like, they released Magnetism in 2004 and pulled it off the shelves 2 years later! O_O

Plus, like when they released Signature and Into The Blue for women, they didn't release men's versions. Sunset Heat was the first time they released a seasonal summer fragrance for men. I think it's just wierd the way they release men's fragrance so out-of-sync with the womens. Like not necessarily that they should release one for men every time they do for women, but like, for example, they pulled the original fragrances for men and women off the shelves, and replaced the women's version with Signature. But the only new fragrance for men we've got since Magnetism was the summer fragrance.

The only reason I pay this much attention, and the only reason it really upsets me is because they're my favorite 😀 I've not found a single Escada fragrance that I've hated.

Ah, I gotcha. Well, hope they will start doing some men's fragrances then, but I think most brands do fewer men's than women's, right?
