Scratch ‘n sniff wallpaper

Posted by Robin on 27 October 2007 8 Comments

Tutti Frutti wallpaperYep, just like in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It's the "Fruit Cocktail Collection" from Flavor Paper:

The Fruit Cocktail Collection began when Michael Angelo asked if we could actually make scratch & sniff wallpaper. The result is a fantastic trio of hand screened fruit wallpaper designed by Michael and Flavor Paper. And, when scratched, B-A-N-A-N-A-S! smells like bananas, Cherry Forever like cherries, and Tutti Frutti like…tutti frutti! Visual AND olfactory satisfaction from your walls. Pure genius.

Shown is Tutti Frutti. (found via dailycandy)

I sure hope the Snozzberries smell like Snozzberries.

I believe the Willy Wonka paper was *lickable.*
And I'm holding out for that.

Hmm… I'm having problems with this concept. My grandmother would have a fit if anyone were to bring their fingernails too close to *her* wallpaper. How much scratching do you think this stuff can take?? lol

LOL — true, although would be even worse if the smell was constant, even when you didn't want it!
