Goodness, it must be terribly difficult to distill/condense/press the essence from the black leather to get that rare Black Leather accord. I believe it can only be obtained from a single estate in the mountains of northern Cambodia…

Love, love their clothes. (they say they did all the clothing for George Clooney in his latest too if that tells you anything). Another one with everything but the kitchen sink, but I'd love to try it on Mr. Rose.

I've never seen Canali perfumes in Europe. Are they only on the American market?

I think the brand is biggest in Italy — but no idea where else in Europe they're sold. Do see them on lots of Russian websites. They aren't all that easy to find in the US, actually…I think Nordstrom has them, but not sure of any other dept stores.
This sounds kind of interesting, I'll have to look for it at Nordy's if they're carrying it. I'm curious about leathers, so maybe that RARE black leather accord will do the trick.
But whew! The list of additional notes?! Did they leave anything out? Where's the plum and grapefruit to “round it out”? Silliness.
The film is titled Michael Clayton (a forgettable name if there ever was one). And it does look interesting. I'll stop myself before going off on a tangent about George Clooney films, since this is not “Now Smell and Watch This”.
And I love this bottle. Can I just please get something else in it?

Glad to help. I know more about film than fragrance, so at least I can contribute *something* here. Besides the occasional wisecrack, that is. If you are a George Clooney fan, you may want to view “Good Night and Good Luck”, and “Siriana”, both of which are fine films [at least IMO]. Netflix is great, isn't it?
And yes, GC needs to front a fragrance. He doesn't make my heart go pitter-patter, but he definitely has an appeal that I am sure would sell a few bottles. Just let's have it be something with a little gravitas, please. I am sure Kevin can come up with a list of notes that would do Mr. C. justice.
Good Night is in my queue already, but thought Siriana might be too violent for me (?) I adore Netflix. But my queue is always ought of control, and I am always fussing with it and moving things about 🙂
I did not think Siriana was that violent. I have a high tolerance for film violence, though, although not for gore, if that makes any sense. I thought Siriana had more depth than Good Night, although Good Night was a gem of a film. Speaking of gems, did you see Capote? I just watched it and was completely blown away by it. I am sure you would like it.
I think the beauty of Netflix is you can throw things into your queue and then rest assured that *someday* you will get each one (assuming you live long enough). It is very much like a David Allen/Getting Things Done type of tool (and yes, I am a GTD aficionado). Now we just need a Netflix for fragrance. 🙂
I'll think about Siriania. I have a high tolerance for some kinds of cartoonish violence — I like Bond & the Bourne series, but don't like “darker” kinds of violence. Capote is still waiting in my queue!
Well, I tried it this morning. I was underwhelmed. A real “kitchen sink” of ingredients… yet hardly any are distinguishable. This is a very smooth, slightly sweet fragrance. It's so smooth that — in my opinion — it has nothing interesting to offer. Kinda ho-hum and innocuous, and vaguely synthetic. The sweet-musk drydown gets irritating.
