Jonathan Rhys Meyers for Hugo by Hugo Boss

Posted by Robin on 22 January 2007 6 Comments

Hugo Boss Hugo for men Limited Art Edition fragranceLast year, Hugo Boss named Jonathan Rhys Meyers the new face of the Hugo by Hugo Boss fragrance for men, originally released in 1995. You can see the first commercial (and it is worth a peek, even if you aren't a Jonathan Rhys Meyers fan) at stashmedia (found via jrmfansite). Next month, the Hugo fragrance will also be released in a Limited Art Edition (see bottle at right) in an urban graffiti style that links back to elements in the commercial. (via cosmoty.de)

Two words- Eye Candy. And some more words- Hugo Boss scents are so not worthy of JRM 🙂

I had never heard of JRM, and have never tried Hugo — I am so out of it! But I really like that commercial.

His first claim to fame was as the soccer coach opposite Keira Knightley in 'Bend it like Beckham'. I know nothing of Hugo Boss frags…worth trying?

Aha, I need to see that movie! I have only tried 2 HB scents: Deep Red & Woman. Neither made much impression on me.

My husband has trouble finding colognes that smell nice on him But Hugo was and is still one of my fave’s on him. Last year he tried CK Man and its not to bad but if I had to pick Hugo would win!
